The Initiative for Caltech Students Exceeds Goal

Undergraduate Scholarships:
A hallmark of the Institute is its long-standing commitment to ensuring the most qualified candidates can fulfill their dream of attending Caltech, regardless of their financial limits. The Initiative for Caltech Students has raised $108.1 million in scholarships to enable students to learn without worrying about the cost of their education or graduating under a burden of debt.

Graduate Fellowships:
Fellowships attract and retain the most talented and ambitious students from across the world—and maintain Caltech’s excellence. To help provide graduate students with the academic agility to take risks and push the boundaries of science, the campaign has raised $112.4 million for fellowships.

Health & Wellness:
The student initiative has raised $3.3 million to support health and wellness resources, which are essential for students to thrive in our rigorous academic environment. Our range of services available to students includes excellent medical health care, counseling that supports students’ mental health, and occupational services that help students set good habits and routines to achieve their goals.

Career Advising:
All students should have the tools to transform their exceptional educational experience and passions into a successful career pathway of their choice—whether it’s becoming an academic or industry leader, joining public service, or launching a startup. Donors have contributed $2.3 million to help students achieve their career goals.

Co-Curricular Experience:
A complete student experience includes access to captivating programs, services, and opportunities outside of academics. To support co-curricular activities, the student initiative has raised $29.3 million for programs that allow students to hone their skills, build lifelong friendships around shared interests, and showcase their achievements.
